As Managing Director, Hani is responsible for strategic direction and operational management, with expertise in duration-driven project management and Six Sigma methodology. He currently resides in the United Kingdom with his wife and three children.

Prior to his current role, Hani served 14 years with the Electric Power Division of Caterpillar Inc., United Kingdom. His varying roles included sales and marketing, dealer development, Six Sigma, project management and process excellence. As part of his sales and marketing role, Hani was responsible for the growth and development of the UK market. He created and implemented a dealer network strategy that resulted in increased market share in generator sales and higher spare parts revenue.

Having attained certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt (Caterpillar University), Hani led and managed numerous engineering, processes and transactional projects in services and manufacturing domains, with a cost savings in excess of $100m. These projects spanned across Caterpillar facilities, Dealerships and suppliers within the UK, USA, Brazil, India, China, Lebanon, Dubai and Nigeria, streamlining their businesses in line with Six Sigma methodology. He also provided Six Sigma training to employees within these facilities.

Hani joined the Project Management Office and completed PMI (Project Management Institute) training in project management including duration-driven planning and control, advanced Microsoft project, and advanced planning and control with Microsoft project. Within this role he led a major project to review and revamp the Engineering Change Process. His team comprised of members from all functional areas of each of the eight international facilities.

Before joining Caterpillar Inc., Hani held a variety of senior management positions across a number of multi-national organisations in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the UK, spanning some 19 years. As Managing Director of a Steel Manufacturing plant with an annual turnover of $24m, he turned the company from operating at a loss to reaching break-even point within one financial year, reducing inventory by 60%.

John Arbuckle is responsible for business analysis and organisation improvement, specialising in the philosophy of Lean thinking/manufacturing, project management and people development.

Originally an engineer by profession, John spent over 19 years in various positions including 13 years in management for Bombardier Aerospace, Belfast. He has 18 years experience in business improvement and strategic consultancy in the UK and Irish markets across the public, private and non-profit sectors.

John was an Engineering Executive for the Northern Ireland Growth Challenge, whose aim was to increase the competitive advantage of the engineering sector in Northern Ireland.

He has provided business analysis and business improvement services to Invest Northern Ireland and Enterprise Ireland for over 10 years. John has assisted over 50 businesses, mainly in the manufacturing/production sector. In the past 3 years he also provided consultancy services to over 40 small-medium enterprises for Belfast, Newtownabbey and Coleraine Borough Councils.

John has a BA (Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering) and an MA (Business Administration). He is trained in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt), as an Executive Coach, and a Certified Management Consultant with the Institute for Management Consultancy. In January 2012 he became one of the first accredited registered project professionals in the UK and has assessed the project management capabilities of over 20 senior Change Managers across the British Isles who manage complex projects and programmes.

He is a Committee Member of the UK Association for Project Management and the MBA Association of Ireland.

Kevin Bell is a seasoned process improvement specialist with over 32 years of front-line operational and managerial experience, gained from working in the manufacturing sector and the oil and gas industry.

In his earlier career spanning some 15 years, Kevin worked both onshore and offshore in the UK’s North Sea oil industry. He supported drilling operations by maintaining the operational efficiency of a wide range of heavy drilling and well control equipment, on Chevron and Shell operated oil platforms.

Kevin has17 years manufacturing experience within FG Wilson Engineering / Caterpillar in various technical and managerial roles. He is highly knowledgeable in manufacturing operations, plant maintenance, Lean deployment and Continuous Improvement. Specialising in process improvement, he has delivered multi-million pound cost savings and other safety and quality benefits for Caterpillar in small and medium sized manufacturing facilities in China, India, Brazil and Northern Ireland. Kevin also played a key leadership role in the successful deployment of the Caterpillar Production System throughout the Electric Power Division and is recognised as a Kaizen expert.

Kevin graduated with a Higher Diploma in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. As a trained and certified Lean Six Sigma professional, he specialises in Business Improvements and Value Stream Transformations using Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools. He is also qualified and experienced in the identification and mitigation of Health, Safety and Ergonomic risk. As a member of the Institute of Leadership & Management with a supervisory management qualification, he has the relevant knowledge to effectively lead and direct process improvement activities.
